Williams Otokolo Colleges of Agriculture Technology (WOCATECH) comprises 12 Independent WOCATECH Colleges of Agriculture across various states in Nigeria, dedicated to fostering agricultural education and technological advancements.
The Graduate Management School (GMS) was established in January 12th, 2007 and overtime grew to become a beacon of hope as a renowned private Sector-Led Management School in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, at the heart of the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria. The GMS legacy having trained on scholarship grant/humanitarian help, over Two Thousand Five Hundred (2,500) Women under the Agricultural Women Empowerment Program (AWEP). The AWEP of the Management School helped and supported the women to gain Agro-skills in various Agribusiness and Food Production areas played a pivotal role in the inception of the Williams Otokolo Colleges of Agriculture Technology (WOCATECH) in Nigeria.
The establishment of WOCATECH Twelve (12) Independent Williams Otokolo Colleges of Agriculture Technology (WOCATECH ) in twelve (12) States of the Federation was catalyzed by the Management School vision of holistic Agritech based education, skilled-engineered and technical capacity building programs, agric-economic transformation initiatives/ideals, Creating All-inclusive Partnership Synergy with States, Federal and International Agencies, Donors, NGO's, Faith-Based Organization, and promoting Agric-community based empowerment programs to achieve Food Security in Nigeria and Africa.
The GMS vision recognized the need to create an institutional framework, Build Capacity and Create innovative strategy that specifically addressed hunger, unemployment, the food shortage faced by Nigeria's and Africa's by invigorating and creating a paradigm shift in agricultural sector with a strategic Food Security drives to overcome the multiple Food Insecurity challenges faced in the continent and bring hope and solution to the people for sustainable economic prosperity.
This initiatives has achieved a strong multifaceted presence in promoting the establishment of WOCATECH twelve (12) independent Agriculture Colleges of Technology which has demonstrated its commitment to sustainable Agritech and Agripreneurial educational development, Innovative and Technical Education System to foster youth empowerment, Employment Generation, Investment in Commercial Food Production and Agro Raw Materials Development for Industries within Africa and Diaspora.

The WOCATECH & GMS Legacy Project is a visionary initiative that integrates agricultural innovation with professional management education under one unified institution. The Graduate Management School (GMS) is not a separate entity but the strategic foundation upon which the Williams Otokolo Colleges of Agriculture Technology (WOCATECH) was established. As the professional management school within WOCATECH, GMS provided the guiding ideas, frameworks, and strategies that birthed the twelve independent colleges across the Federation, shaping them into centers of excellence for agribusiness and food systems transformation.
Today, GMS serves as the Postgraduate Management School of WOCATECH, equipping graduates of the twelve colleges with advanced knowledge in Agritech , Leadership, Agribusiness strategy, Entrepreneurship Development, Financial management techniques, Enterprise and Project management. This ensures that WOCATECH students do not only gain technical expertise in agriculture and food production but also acquire the managerial, administrative and leadership skills required to lead enterprises, manage large-scale agricultural projects, and drive sustainable development in both public and private sector institutions. The integration guarantees that every innovation in the field is matched with strong corporate governance, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial acumen.
